Dink aan jou / thinking of you

Hi there!

Beautiful color inspiration for this time of the year...

That is what Chrissie & Jen gave us this week at Less is more!

                                                            Dark green and Rust





Sometimes a small little something  makes a big difference. The leaf just didn't look right... too solid... until I added the 'vein' by using my dressmakers tracing wheel. Suddenly it just looked right ( to me anyway ;)

    Gisteren een heleboel prachtige kaarten van jou op dit blog bekeken Hannelie. Ook deze vormt geen uitzondering. Eenvoudige vormen als deze spreken mij aan. Een sterke kaart!

    I can see I need to get to the fabric store and purchase a tracing wheel with teeth - mine is flat!! This is gorgeous. Love the CAS lines, the bold colors, and the sprinkling of pearls. Really wonderful. Bev

    So nice to know that I am not the only one who still has my tracing wheel in my sewing basket! I'm sure they are a thing of the past! After seeing this amazing card, I am off to the basket to put it back into active duty!

    The green and rust is totally stunning together. Perfect color combo for the wood grain panel. Love the bits of bling too!

    My jinne vrou, het jy sowaar nog 'n tracing wheel!! Ek onthou hoe ons as kinders altyd met my ma s'n gespeel het, maar wat van hom geword het sal niemand weet nie!! In elk geval, jy het alweer 'n superslim idee gehad en dit werk perfek!!
    Mal oor jou ryk kleure en die font vir die sentiment is pragtig. (Laat dink my aan die dae wat ek kalligrafie gedoen het!)
    Daai 3 steentjies rond alles so goed af - dis perfek geplaas!!
