Playing with geometric shapes

Hi there!

The challenge this week at Less is more is

             HEXAGONS !

And the challenge at Crazy for CAS is : Card for a man!

I was playing around with some shapes the other day, and by layering two single chevrons, I saw that it formed a hexagon - IF you look at the outline or one dimensional .

BUT ... if you look at it carefully... and by choosing 2 colors (optional)... you will see a 3 dimensional cube!

So... it's a 3 in 1  ! CHEVRON-HEXAGON-CUBE!

A sentiment for my Afrikaans as well as my English followers...

Thanks for visiting me today!

  6. You're amazing....absolutely amazing! This is so cool. You've created a "Chevagonbe"!

This card is so perfectly masculine - perfect timing for those of us (yes, me) who still have to whip up a Father's Day card!

I will definitely be telling my FIL that my clever friend from far, far away created the Chevagonbe!

  17. I've seen quilt blocks similar to this (the 3D effect) but I would never have thought you could do it using part of a chevron. How clever of you.
