I can clearly recall the day I stumbled upon Chrissie's blog... that was before I was even considering to blog or before I knew about CAS, or any other style of card making for that matter!
I just knew : I want to make cards like this!
After discovering Chrissie's blog... of course, I followed the link on her blog to Less is more... it took some time before I joined the fun... just watched (& learned) ... and now, I just can't wait every week to see in which way Chrissie & Jen are going to challenge the LIMettes!
Today, just more than 2 years later, I find myself writing a post as guest designer at Less is more !
I have lots of sand to play with here in the desert... so here you go!
For my focal point, I've cut a geometric pattern (with my silhouette cameo) , characteristic to the Middle east ( you will find it on many mosques and other buildings). I used a spray adhesive and covered the top layer ( pattern) in the darker shade of sand. I then created the background with the lighter shade of sand, and sealed it off with a layer of spray-able Modge Podge.
