Monopoly inspired

Hi there!

The cue word at casology this week is :




Since the cue word is open to interpretation, I decided to use the monopoly board's design as inspiration only to design my card and to create a birthday card, not a card with a sentiment related to game/the monopoly game.

I didn't plan another card for cas-ualfridays's challenge, but since I used markers again to create my card, I will link it up there as well!







I cut a panel, and measured the blocks, drew it with a fineliner felt pen and colored it according to the inspiration picture with Promarkers. Finally it was layered on the card base with foam tape.

I created the sentiment digitally.

    So GREAT! I predict a winning card.

    This just speaks to me. so CAS like crazy!

    I think it speaks loudly to me because of countless hours of all kinds of Monopoly you can thing of!!

    My 10yr old collects games. We have Pireates of the Caribbean Monopoly, Nascar Monopoly, regular monopoly, Seattle Monopoly.. (lol and more I think) not to mention 5 different games of CLUE.
