A shaped card for Less is more #69

Hi there!

With this card it was back to basics for the biggest part... I did't want to use any of the dies I have to create a shaped card. So I used a little template I created from a kind of chipboard mobile of birds I received some time ago from my cousin.
I traced it , scanned it and enlarged it in Paint , then traced it on my card stock, and cut it out with scissors.
I am so spoiled by the neat effect of a die ... so I am not so satisfied by the neatness of the project... but I still love the overall end result.
The wing  was die cut and sentiment computer generated. I added a die cut flower and pearl for the eye.

Here you go!

Approximate size 15x10cm.

The inspiration :

I used the same bird in THIS card.

  4. I'm with you on the lovely finished edges of die-cuts Hannelie, but if I ever use scissors, I usually draw an embossing tool along the edges of the card to round them off a little.
This is a lovely little bird!
    Thanks so much
