Happy birthday to you!

Hi there!

{ To read about my blog's first birthday celebrations, please click on the balloons in the side bar!}

It's color challenge time at  less is more this week ~ color : green.

I think I have enough Christmas cards, so I decided to make a birthday card with the sentiment as main feature.

The sentiment is computer generated. What is nice about this type of open font, is that you can do so much with it. If you keep it small, you can leave it as is, or only edit the color. If you use it in a bigger format, you can color it with markers or paper piece it like I did in this card.

I paper pieced each letter with a different patterned paper (great way to use scraps!)

As always... I'm sharing it with... YOU!

There are more like this one in the side bar labeled "free sentiments".  You are welcome to use it. A link back would be appreciated!

Other challenges

make it monday ~ anything goes
pink gem challenge ~ monochromatic, non Christmas, with sentiment
drunken stampers ~ monochromatic
4 crafty chicks ~ birthday

Thanks for your visit!
