For most of you, the title of this post would be a very strange word...
DANKIE is the Afrikaans word for "thank you".
When I saw the challenge at daring cardmakers to use a foreign language, I knew I had to create something in my mother tongue!
The card was inspired by a project in issue 72 of Papercraft essentials. It was love at first sight when I saw the patchwork projects featured.
I saw the description for the colours (aqua, lime and white) on feline playful, but chose the patchwork idea BEFORE I saw the inspiration picture at "colour create"!!!
What a big surprise when I linked up and saw the picture was a quilted duvet!
