Botanical Prints

 Hi there!

I was intrigued by the new mixed media challenge over at CAS mix up ! I knew I had to try it... and with all the experimenting I ended up with three cards :)

First card :

Second card :

Third card :

I pressed the leaves and flowers using my Sizzix Big Shot, on both the girl's dress and the background.

Here's a before and after shot :

On the first two cards I used :

  • Altenew stamps
  • Rectangle pinpoint die from Memory Box.
  • Versafine black ink
  • Craft foam for dimension

On the last card I used

  • A little bird stamp set from Penny Black.
  • Versafine black ink
  • Foam squares for dimension
  • Pearls
  • Silhouette cameo

Mixed media elements used:

  1. Botanical print made with leaves and flowers
  2. Stamping
  3. Die cutting

Thanks for visiting me today ♥

  2. Hannelie, these are the prettiest cards ever! I love your idea of Pressing the flowers directly onto the die cut. I have to say the girl looks very cute in her real leaf dress before you pressed it, too! You sure have some pretty leaves in Abu Dhabi! It's wonderful to see your card at CAS Mix Up!
