Altenew June 2021 Inspiration Challenge

 Hi there!

I think challenges, and especially color challenges are just what I need to push my creativity regarding the use of color . Thanks Tenia for providing a wonderful palette to work with this month !

I experimented with some backgrounds and today I will share the first card I made. 









 I used :

  • Distress oxide inks
  • Sketchy-floral-stamp-set (one of my favorite Altenew stamps and maybe the most used one too !)
  • Label-love 
  • Pearls
  • Foam squares
  • Misti
  • Memory Box rectangle die
  • Acrylic paper 

I applied the ink straight from the ink pad to the acrylic paper to show off that amazing texture. I then stamped the image , cut out the center rectangle and popped it up with foam squares to add some interest. I finally added the sentiment and finished the card off with pearls.

My stamp and design choices were inspired by the rustic organic look of the photo, and off course the featured colors .
