It's time to share the card I made for this month's Altenew Challenge !
Virginia gave us a fun and colorful picture to base our cards on, here's my card :
- Umbrella mask cut with my Silhouette cameo
- Classy stripes stencil
- Inks : Coral Berry , Parrot , Ocean Waves
- Paint-a-flower : Rose stamp set
- Filled-alpha-stamp-set ( dots )
- Versafine black ink
- Misti
The umbrellas are such an integral part of the inspiration picture, I knew I wanted it to be a feature on my card too. To help me out with that , I used my Silhouette cameo to cut out a mask which I used with the Classy Stripes stencil. I used paper scraps to do some more masking to get the stripes in the alternating colors of the photo. I then removed the mask and stencil and stamped the outline rose over the stenciled background. I finished off this one layer card with a sentiment and dots stamped with the full stop punctuation from the above mentioned stamp set.
