Hi there!
To make more masculine cards is not really a new years resolution, but it is something I will try to do more this year! I actually enjoy making cards for men . Maybe because it fits my graphic style of card making! So here's the first one for 2019 :)
Something else I should do more, is to decorate the envelope before I pack away the supplies. A matching envelope adds something really special to a card !
I used :
Did you notice the resemblance between the sketch at CTS and the beautiful door / wood panel in the inspiration picture at Color Throwdown? Love it !

ReplyDeleteThe perfect masculine card! LOVE! Thanks for joining us at The Color Throwdown!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, you're magnificent with the masculine cards! Your card also works well into all the challenges - kudos!
ReplyDeleteThere you go, sharing again. Thank you, Hannelie! I admire how you've used this sketch to make a masculine card. Anything nature themed appeals to me, whether flora or fauna. What a great fit for the three challenges. The matching envelope surely does add to the appeal and it's something I don't do often anymore. Many times I take the easy way out and go with a matching color envelope.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the first time you have used that Kaiserkraft plank stamp, nor the first time I thought to myself that I need to add that to my stash!!! Love how this turned out and how different it is to the previous time you used it :-)
ReplyDeleteHannalie, it's wonderful having you play along with us at CTS... we do miss you - and your fabulous designs! This one is no exception to that rule! xx
ReplyDelete=]
So nice to see you in the gallery, Hannelie! Love your masculine take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a stunning masculine card! I am going to hop on over to your blog next time I need inspiration for a masculine card. Beautiful colors and love how you diagonally stamped the background stamp. I love your CAS work a lot. Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. XX Ankita
