Water color birthday wishes

Hi there!

Happy Friday to you!

The card I am showing you today was inspired by three challenges :)








I used :


  • Humming-birds stamp set from Mudra-stamps @ Paper Curves
  • Sentiment from Altenew
  • Zig markers
  • Versafine Black ink
  • Rhinestones
  • Misti
  • Silhouette for 'fussy cutting' of the hummingbird

It was fun making this card with its combination of watercolor smooshing technique and loose water coloring! I usually dread adding splatters and coloring outside the lines like this, but this time I think it worked !

    Beautiful hummingbird in lovely colours, and also great loose watercolouring on the fuschias! I have hummingbirds visiting my hanging baskets of fuschias in the summer so I love your card! Thanks for joining us at CAS Watercolour!
