Less is more gave us a gorgeous card to case this fortnight. A beauty in blue by Aileen !
Here's my take on the provided inspiration :
I used :
- Cutting file from Silhouette store : Flower bouquet by Jamie Koay (Edited : I will add the design ID as soon as I am able to access my account with designs... there seems to be some kind of problem at the moment... for those who asked :)
- Distress ink for water coloring
- Sentiment from Altenew
- Silhouette cameo
- Folk Art silver glitter glue
I focused on the cluster of blue flowers and incorporated the silver glitter from Aileen's diecut sentiment to my die cut flower.
This is Aileen's beautiful card:

Thanks for visiting me today!
Hugs
Hannelie

Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteI love your carefree flowers. They seem relaxed and fun-loving with your easy-going water color style.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where the trend started, but these blue blooms are really turning my head - yes. this no-lover of blue!!

Love how you watercolored this very pretty flower bouquet!
ReplyDeleteI Love your card! It's beautiful! Can you tell me the # of the Silhouette Flower bouquet by Jamie Koay? I have tried looking it up on the Silhouette store without any luck. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a terrific design. Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Hannelie ... the balance between the crisp outlines and the unstructured colouring is perfect ... this is just so lovely! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a different and inspiring design, Hannelie. Love those flower outlines with the watercolouring behind, really unique.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
Fab card, Hannelie - a great take on Aileen's design but with your own creative twist!
ReplyDeleteStunning card, Hannelie. I especially love how you made the design your on by bringing the silver to the flower instead of using it in the sentiment. Super work! Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
