CAS(e) this sketch # 239

Hi there!

Thursday already! Also time for CAS(e) this sketch !




I think we all have a drawer or a box somewhere with background experiments ! Every now and again, I open that box to see what's inside... I found this watercolor background  I created some time ago. I used an embossing folder as background stamp. I have so many embossing folders and this is a great way to put them to use!








I added a banner across with the sentiment as inlaid die cut (Silhouette cameo) using the font : "Always in my heart".

A couple of enamel dots, and that's it!

    Love this color combination and how you've inlaid that 'hello.' Such a great idea to use watercolors on an embossing folder, too. I'll have to give this a try... I like the idea of the control you got using Zigs. What a great card!! Love it. Bev

    I have a few eb folder stamped backgrounds in my stash, but need to have more. I always love the effect you can get and such a wonderfully creative use of our many eb folders. Thanks for the reminder of this fun technique. I love the simplicity of your design and how you used colored cardstock. TFS Hannelie. Hugs...

    I love the watercolor background you made with an embossing folder, Hannelie! It's so pretty and it has an interesting texture. The rest of the card is solid and clean, so this is a great combination. Hideko
