Hello Sunshine!

Hi there!

The amazingly vibrant inspiration photo Virginia picked for the March inspiration challenge at Altenew promises to spark wonderful design ideas!

Of course the first element that inspired me was the colors! Beautiful! I really think Virginia captured an amazing moment with so much energy and liveliness!

I also noticed wonderful curves... the ladies 😊, their smiles , their skirts, and the weaved baskets on their heads...

This is what happened in the craft room:

Altenew Hello sunshine

A closer look:

Altenew Hello sunshine

I used the Hello-sunshine-set (Altenew) to stamp the center panel. Coloring done with my Promarkers and here & there some pencil shading.

I modified the road cutting file Design ID #29822 from the Silhouette store to create the cut out. Layered the two side front panels 3 times to create dimension.

Thank you so much for visiting me today!

  18. Love reading about how the picture inspired this card - the curves!! As a lady with curves, it's perfect and I love seeing all the bright colours popping through and being revealed more as we go down the card. It's a beauty! Thank you for playing over at The Flower Challenge this month. Ruth DT xx
