Today is an extra special Thursday.
Yes it's CAS(e) this sketch day, but is also the birthday of Anita from My papercraft world !
Anita is one of the kindest, talented and most supportive blog buddies out there. and although we have never met IRL, it feels as if we have known each other for years, and we both dream of meeting each other one day in the future!
So... my card today is not only to inspire you to play along with our sketch this week, it is also a card for Anita's birthday and at this stage, it is travelling somewhere between Abu Dhabi and France!
Happy birthday friend, may this be the start of an unforgettable year!
My take ...
To make my card, I used die DOTS die from Dots & Dashes (Paper Smooches). I just randomly ran it through my Big shot (9 times to be exact ;) and when completed, glued a strip of colored card stock to the backside of each row of dots. I popped the upper panel up with fun foam and added a sentiment cut with my Silhouette.
This was such a fun card to make, and for that reason I am linking my card to the FUN & CUTE challenge at Paper smooches.
I am also adding my link to the Seize the birthday challenge (No topping option) .

It looks stunning on screen ... and it looks even more so IRL ... I'm looking at it on the mantle as I type! LOVE the rainbow colours ... and adore those random rows of tiny dots (that die has gone right into my wish book!!) ... they're perfect with that yummy scripty sentiment!
