CASology : Adore

Hi there!

CASOLOGY time!!!

The cue card to inspire you this week is :

I was playing with this word in my head over and over, and just didn't know which way I want to go with the cue this week. Adore... adore... adorable... dory... DORY!!!

Punny cards never come easy to me, but oh boy, I couldn't resist using not just one, but two puns based on one of my favorite animation movies/characters!

I went searching for a font to use and was surprised to find THIS font, just like the one from Finding Nemo !

The uppercase letters I used to create my sentiment is from above mentioned font. I combined it with lower case letters from apple boy font . I welded the DORY part into a little wave trying to create the same effect as the title of the movie.

On to the images... I found Dory in an online coloring book. I used only the outline of the image to cut Dory in dark blue, and popped the 2 up on a white offset base to create contrast. I added googly eyes for a fun look.

Bright pink punched hearts to finish off the design.
