Casology : Pretty

Hi there!

The cue card this week is actually so easy, because we all make pretty cards!

How will you interpret this week's challenge ?

See... pretty easy!!!

My take on the challenge:

And a second take...

For my first card, I stamped the sentiment from the "Truth is" stamp set by Casual Fridays 4 times to create a background for my smaller focal point.

For the second card, I used a larger cropped version of the same silhouette, but to keep it CAS, I toned down the sentiment by stamping it once only in the upper left corner.

2 cards to show the effect of scale on a CAS card. Do you have a favorite? I would love to hear your opinion!

  1. Both are beautiful CAS designs, Hannelie! Love both, but the background out of sentiments on the first one is a little bit more attractive to me:).Have a great day!

  2. Of course both are 'pretty' and beautiful but I like the first one slightly better as I like how you've stamped the sentiment a few times and I think that's clever. The pink girl on top sets it off your card beautifully..gorgeous x

  12. Reading through the comments so far, it seems the consensus is that the first is the favourite by a smidge. And I would agree - I think the arrangement of the text behind the silhouette is appealing. Two fabulous cards!

  20. Hello Hannelie: Both this cards are beautiful in their own way.
The first one looks amazing with the fabulous sentiment background behind the pink silhouette.
The second one is bolder with the larger profile also in pink and the smaller sentiment.
You have a great eye for design.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Maria.
