You did it!

Hi there!

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day whenever en wherever you read this!

Thanks for popping over to take a look at the card I made inspired by 3 challenges.

You did it card in black gold and white


I love Karren's sketch at Freshly made sketches this week... almost like a clean slate ready for creating! I just flipped it upright and then it was the perfect layout for my entry to the congratulations theme at Less is more. The added gold makes it eligible to play at Time out challenges as well where the phrase is : Friendship is golden.

I cut the trophy with my Silhouette from gold textured paper bought at our version of a dollar store (Daiso - a Japanese outlet where you can buy... well almost anything under the sun !) 7 dirham = less than $2 for a pack of 20 silver and gold sheets! Really rich and a beautiful golden color IRL.

I added a strip of gold  and diagonal B&W stripes on the right. My own sentiment banner and a little punched bow on the trophy to add interest and balance the black on the banner.

Here's the sentiment I created... white on black sentiment are so popular at the moment. I left some space on the sides if you want to cut it into a banner shape.

    Wat een mooie strakke kaart! Gaaf design en niet teveel, maar precies genoeg goud (vind dat zelf een lastige kleur). Hoop dat je een fijne zondag hebt! Hier is het bewolkt maar droog, dus lekker weer wat in huis doen verder.... Groetjes, Gerrina

    Joe, mal oor die wit en swart strook wat jy saam met die goud gebruik het aan die kant en die sentiment lyk eenvoudig lieflik so op die banner, vrou!!! En daai pikante swart strikkie gee absolute perfekte balans aan die banner!!! Hierdie kaartjie is sowaar meer as een eerste plekke werd, vrou!!!! Perfek gedoen!!!!
