I am here to invite you to play at Seize the birthday for the next 2 weeks ... where the topping this time is weather. Include any sunshine, clouds, etc. element/s on your card. Feel free to go with the no topping option, and show us any newly created birthday card!

Here's my take on the theme:
... and another angle:
To create an interesting background for my weather scene, I folded the bottom part of the card at an angle, to show the lovely polka dots on the flip side. I added a transparent panel on the inside in order to make the card stand upright. The sentiment , sun and clouds were all cut with my Silhouette.
Fonts used: pharmacy and fox in the snow.
The layout of my card was inspired by the sketch at Less is more.
I am also linking my card to the anything goes challenge at Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge.
Thanks for visiting me today!

Great card, love the folding! Jo x
ReplyDeleteVery cool card, Hannelie. How do you adhere the acetate so that it looks ok on the inside? Also, I see that the back of your card is white. Did you start out with a white card base? Sorry for all the questions, but I love the look of this card and am wondering just how it was made. Hope you don't mind letting me in on your secrets. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Hannelie, another wonderful fold up card ... how gorgeous ... those bold colours are fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
