Smile ~ The card concept

Hi there !

Time to share my second (and last) card as guest designer at The card concept.
Thanks so much for the opportunity! I enjoyed to share my projects with you at TCC!




So many favourite elements of mine in this photo, from the daisies to the fabulous colour combination, Love at first sight!



I used a cutting file from the Silhouette on-line store called "daisies" . The flowers are so beautiful, it really didn't need much more. I decided to use the negative of the cut, and added a layer of grey and white polka dots beneath the top layer. Three yellow enamel dots and a sentiment to finish the design off.

This is my clean and graphic take on the sketch... what will you create?

  1. I would never have thought to use polkadots peeking through, but they give the card a homey, friendly feel!

  25. Jou pragtige madeliefies laat my glimlag, vrou en laat my verlang na die lente!!!! (Dis koud hier!!!!) Daai drie geel enamel dots lig hierdie kaartjie weer uit in 'n uitsonderlike klas van sy eie!!!! Dis verskriklik mooi en soooo perfek gedoen!!! Ek sit nou behoorlik en staar daarna en wens ek kon ook sulke pragtige kaartjies maak!!!! Jy is regtig begaaf as dit by kreatiwiteit kom, vrou!!!
