Just because...

Hi there!

Happy Tuesday to you ( mine's almost over ! ;)

I want to show you a card I made inspired by a few challenges :

The paper players ~ Colors

Virginias view challenge ~ Embossing

Retro sketches ~ Sketch

After cutting the butterfly with my Silhouette, I used the same stamp as I used in This card to stamp the butterfly, heat embossed it, and added watercolor paint. I also added a little wink a stella, which is difficult to see in the photo.

I die cut 2 loopy borders ( My favorite things) and placed it to overlap each other for the vertical panel ... to add a faux embossing touch!

A sentiment from a Casual Friday stamp set (Loving thoughts) and enamel dots to complete the design.

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

  1. Really lovely card. That butterfly is amazing! All in soft and gentle colors, with it's 'crackly' wings. The kraft is perfect for a backdrop -- it really makes your butterfly stand out. Really pretty! Bev

  12. Hannelie, again that stamp, it's wonderful one, like a mosaic. But what I love most about this card, it's soft spring colors with craft, perfect combination!
