It's a beautiful day!

Hi there!

The Cas-ual fridays challenge of Springtime melodies proved to be a tough one for me. I was pretty sure I wouldn't join this month, but somehow a card came together.

It all started by breaking up the elements in Spring & Music. I went looking for musical inspiration, and found myself staring at a quaver.  I turned it upside down , and thought wow, this looks like a flower stem and leaf ! Just need to add a flower.

And so I did ;)

Halfway there... we still need a sentiment for this card !

How about U2's A beautiful day ?! Since Spring is such a beautiful time of the year!

Here's the sentiment I created to complete my card... you are welcome (as always) to use it!

Thanks for visiting me today !

  2. Alweer 'n meesterstuk, vrou!!!!!

  5. Hannelie, this is so clever!! I kept staring at the flower and aweing the shape of the leaf that I thought was so elegant. I also think that the place where you put your sentiment is just in perfection in this card. I was so deep in these thoughts tha tI couldn't see the note... :) And when I finally saw it, that the feeling was like when you see the "elephant" in those "hide pictures". Thank you for making this card! It is awesome!

  21. I'm amazed and in awe once again! Not only are these colors divine together, but the idea is out-of-this-world super duper cool! Then you go and add this sweet sentiment (thanks for sharing) along the stem of the quaver (which I promptly googled cuz I had no idea what it was!)...and created an artistic masterpiece of genius!
