LOVE

Hi there!

I really don't know what I am going to do with all the Valentine's day cards I've made over the last couple of days, because I only have ONE Valentine ! LOL, but hey the challenges keep coming, and you know I can't resist a challenge!

Speaking of challenges... my set of watercolor paint was still lying on my desk, and after my previous attempt, I gained some confidence to try again! And this time I LOVE the result :)

It only took 2 simple brush strokes to make the heart using a die cut heart as guide! I layered the card front on the base which was  painted in the same shade of pink.

The 'love' sentiment is from Miss Kate Cuttables (cut with my Silhouette).

Inspiration comes from the following challenges:

Cas-ual fridays  ~ CAS watercolors

Casology ~ HOT (I picked a hot shade of pink for my heart)

AAA cards ~ LOVE

Addicted to stamps ~ Photo inspiration (I used the love theme and pink as inspiration)

Thanks for visiting me... I'll be back a bit later with my CASE this sketch inspiration card!

  12. Joe, vrou, jy's so slim jong!!!
    Groete

  16. I would not have thought to use the negative space of a cut out heart as a sort of half-stencil. I love the result!

Groetjes, Gerrina
