CAS(E) this sketch #106

Hi there!

Time for a new sketch at Case this sketch !

We had to say good bye to Lesley last week, but we are so happy to welcome  Michele Ferguson to the team!

Yes we now have three Michel(l)es on the team!

This week Chrissy is inspiring us with this fabulous design:

The moment I saw the sketch, the graphics Chrissy used, reminded me of THIS CARD I made some time ago, and I took the graphic route once again.

The card uses a single arrow shape (or chevron ) cut in 2 different colors:
I used my Silhouette cameo to do the cutting.

By overlapping 2 shapes, and popping it up with foam tape, as shown in my card, you almost get a 3D effect!

I stamped a sentiment from Uniko studios on one of the chevrons, and scored a vertical line just to add some interest.

Linking my card to the "its a guy thing" challenge at Simon says stamp blog.

Hope to see you at CAS(E) this sketch this week!

Thanks for looking!

  17. I love this card. It brings to mind an architectural element in some of Frank Lloyd Wright's work. My husband would love this card, too, as he is a big fan of Wright's architecture.
