Starry starry night

Hi there!

It's a one layer week at Less is more... And there should be a STAR somewhere on your design.

For my card I created I stencil, cut with my Silhouette, by welding a large star inside an oval. After sponging with distress inks, I stamped the Middle Eastern skyline ( a very old wood mounted stamp of unknown origin) in the widest part of the star.

I want to give credit to my Dutch friend Gerrina for her inspiration ... while I was struggling with an idea for this card... her post popped up in my blog reader... and 1-2-3 -CASE Gerrina!

You can see her card here!

I added a season's greeting sentiment to finish it off.

I will also enter :

Crafty hazelnut's Christmas challenge ~ keep it flat.

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

  10. Nog 'n briljante skepping, vrou!!! So baie, baie slim om daai ster so te gebruik!!!
