Do you agree that sunflowers and burlap are perfect for each other?
I love the combination... and when I saw that The card concept has a sunflower theme , and Curtain call has a burlap challenge, I was so excited!
I am also entering the make your mark challenge at Addicted to stamps.
This is what I made in a clean and layered style this time.
The sunflower is a digital stamp, colored with my promarkers.
The "burlap" is paper, printed from a seamless texture, similar to the ones you can find here.
I opened the sunflower image in my Silhouette program, traced it, and applied the offset and divide function to get the cut out around the image. I popped it up with foam tape for dimension.

What a perfect combo of challenges Hannelie - burlap is just so appropriate for sunflowers...it's given your card such a gorgeous, rustic feel. Beautiful colouring too!

ReplyDeleteO, ek is mal oor hessian, vrou, my hele huis is vol versierings wat ek van hessian gamaak het!!!! En saam met sonneblomme... natuurlik 'n perfekte kombinasie!!! Jou blom is so mooi en dit klink vir my na 'n ingewikkelde proses om dit so perfek uit te sny - maar ons weet mos al by die tyd dat daar 'n ding of wat is wat jy vir die silhouette mense van hul masjien kan leer!!!! Jou blom lyk regtig pragtig - hou van die titseltjies oranje wat jy bygesit het - gee soveel diepte daaraan!!! Die sentiment pas so pragtig daar op sy plek en die plastic dots is perfek geplaas!!
