Guest Designer at CTS!

Hi there!

Today it is my absolute privilege and joy to be the guest designer at Case this sketch!

Sketches are my BIG inspiration in design... without a sketch I feel kinda 'lost' !

CTS provides weekly inspiration in a fabulous way! No difference this week ...

Here it is :




This is what I came up with:



I normally don't stick to the given shape/ shapes in a sketch... but I found the partial image of the butterfly so interesting, so I decided to go for the butterfly... completing the negative shape with a polka dotted -stencilled- masked image in one of my favorite color combinations ~ white, gold and turquoise.

As (almost) always, I have a sentiment to share:

    Congrats Hannelie! I don't really know you in person but you are the first regular who comments on my work and that's why you really have special spot in my heart. When I noticed that you are going to be this week's Guest Designe, I watched the clock every hour or so before the post of a new challenge was up because I couldn't wait to see you there!     Hi, vrou, ek het gewonder wanneer jy dan GD by CTS gaan wees, na jou wen!!!! Baie geluk, hulle is bevoorreg om jou as deel van die span te he vir die week!!!!
    En ja, dit is voorwaar 'n lieflike kombinasie van kleure en jy het dit so slim gebruik!!! Jou polka dot skoenlappers is verskriklik mooi en ek hou van die drie goue strepe by elk!!! Hou van die ronde hoekies op die gekleurde strook en die sentiment pas so pragtig daar op sy plek!!!

    Geniet die week - ek voorspel jy gaan oorval word van welverdiende boodskappies!!!
