In high tide or in low tide...

Hi there!

Firstly... a BIG thanks to each and everyone who popped in to congratulate me on my DT position at AAA cards, the brand new CAS challenge blog!

Also good to see so many familiar faces signing up there as followers...Thanks again!
Fun guaranteed!

On to my card for today... may I say that this is one of those cards that came out exactly the way I hoped it would !

Love it when that happens!

I traced a free clip art anchor image using my Silhouette cameo software, to get cutting lines. It was slightly rotated to the left and cropped to be "off the edge" as shown on my card.

The stripes were masked , using washi tape , and sponged with faded jeans distress ink. I wanted to add a pop of red, but pearls or bling were not appropriate, and I don't have red enamel dots. So... I made my own by punching out 3 small dots of red card stock, and added glossy accents. Enamel dots that almost cost nothing!

My own sentiment to finish off my maritime themed card!

I hope you can use it too!

I will link up my card at the following challenges:

Keep it simple  ~ Maritime

&

Addicted to cas  ~ Off the edge

&

Crafting when we can ~ Use a die cut/ Silhouette  cut.
