Childhood memories

I think of all designs in the world, gingham must be one of my all time favourites. This black and white is just a classic! Combined with dots I just love the effect.

Today I created a card using the sketch from sweet sketch wednesday. I found the vintage girl with doll at Create with TLC.
I'm also entering it to sweet stampin ~ Childhood memories
There are loads of tutorials on you tube regarding flower making... I chose this ONE

    Oh Hannelie, your card reminds me of home for some reason. And yes, ginghams are the best. When you put it together with black and red, it is wonderful. Your card has the down home earthy feel to it. I love it! Thanks for sharing your card with us this week.

    Hi Hannelie, I love your card Black, White and Red alway looks awesome together clean and fresh. I love Gingham, Houndstooth and Polka Dots as well they are childhood memories. I remember my Mum making me a dress in navy and white gingham with navy pockets and collar and on the collar and pocket she had hand embroidered strawberries even the stem and the seeds on the strawberry it was my favourite and looked awesome. I love your image very vintage, great card, thanks so much for sharing it with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week.
