The twins are turning 18!

Hi there!

My sister's twin boys are turning 18 on the 31 st of this month! Wow, how time flies, I can still remember when they were 2 little ones, and now they are almost ready to leave the nest and spread their wings!

Although they are twins, they have completely different personalities and interests! I tried to capture that in the cards I made for them.

For Willem , the nature lover...

I used hand made paper with leaves I've had for ever!

Baie dankie !

Hi there!

I am back in blog land after a very blessed and precious time with my family in South-Africa!
It was so good to breath in the fresh air after a High veld thunderstorm and to feel the friendly African sun on my skin! I really enjoyed every single moment!

But it's always good to be back at home... because home is where the heart is!

Being home means I can craft and that is something I need to do to keep me going!

So on to my first card for 2013... it is a thank you card for this week's challenge at cas-ualfridays.

For this one I took out the craft knife again... just played with it like drawing lines with a pencil. I added a sentiment ( it says : thanks you so much - in Afrikaans) and a little knotted piece of satin ribbon.
The panels were popped up with sponge tape.

That's it!

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

Wishing you a FABULOUS 2013!!!
