You make my heart melt !

Hi there!

So it happened again... just like last week, I thought : "that's it" ! ... but then I saw a picture of an ice cream... yes, 2 scoops... 2 circles... and I just had to make another card for this week's challenge at cas-ualfridays.

With this I wish you all a happy Summer, filled with ice cream days, as we are leaving on Saturday for our annual holiday in South-Africa... yippee! Exchanging the heat of Abu Dhabi for South-Africa's chilly Winter!

I added the melting effect with enamel accents ( a gift from Lisa's blog give away... thanks Lisa!)

Hi there

 In  my previous post I explained how this card  was "born"... you can read it HERE.

It is another entry to this weeks challenge at cas-ualfridays to use 2 circles in your design.
Here is take 2....

The color's I chose were inspired by this week's challenge at the dynamic duos, to use crumb cake and the color of your choice. My choice of course being this turquoise/aqua color.

The hearts were punched from a sheet of cork... sentiment computer generated.

Hi there!

I was thinking of ideas for this week's challenge at cas-ualfridays, to use 2 circles in your design. In the end it was the title of the challenge that triggered the idea for this card.

ROUND & ROUND


The phrase that came up in my mind was : You make my world go round and round, and I built my card on the concept.

This is my first attempt using the concept. When I finished it, I thought maybe it's not CAS enough. So the second card was born... toned down in color & design. 
After everything I decided to post and enter both to the challenge...

The hearts were punched from red card stock and treated with glossy accents.
