Christmas in July - guest designer - Waffle flower

 Hi there!

I am thrilled to share that I was invited to be the guest of Galina for the Christmas in July challenge  over at Waffle Flower Challenges!

This week's challenge is all about using classic Christmas colors and elements !

I stretched my available non Christmas supplies to make a classic Christmas card or rather cards... I had so much fun I made two cards to invite and inspire you to play along !

First card:

For this card I used :

  • Sun-rays-die to cut out the Christmas trees
  • Outlined-rainbow-die to cut out the 'garland'
  • Gold glitter paper
  • Green textured card stock
  • Kraft paper
  • A variety of red and gold pearls and rhinestones to decorate the trees
  • Stars from by stash
  • Foam squares for dimension
  • Sentiment from Altenew
  • Versafine black ink
  • Misti

Second card :

For this card I used :

  • Sun-rays-die to create the negative space depicting a Christmas tree
  • Lacy-flower stamp set to decorate the tree
  • A variety of red and gold pearls and rhinestones to decorate the tree
  • Craft foam for dimension
  • Sentiment and inks by Altenew
  • Misti

Thank you so much Galina and Waffle Flower for inviting me to join this fun challenge.

Just add #WFCHALLENGE 2107 to your Instagram post ... Hope to see you play along :)

So creative! I really love your second card using the lacy flower stamp. The curved sentiment at the bottom highlights the tree image so perfectly, too.

I love both of these beautiful Christmas cards from non-Christmas items. Very creative, Hannelie. Enjoy your day!
