Too Long!

Hi there!

Back with a second card today :)

This time I was inspired by the cue card at CASology !

The extra length of the trendy slimline card worked perfectly for the bold poster style card I had in mind.

I used :

  • Alphabet-outlined stamp set from Uniko and apostrophe stamp from Stamperia
  • Versafine black ink
  • Misti
  • Spellbinders emoji die
  • Foam square

I was so exited when I realized the emoji die fits perfectly into the "o" of the alphabet stamp.  I actually wanted to use a sad face emoji, but the set doesn't include a sad face. Then I remembered the upside down emoji and decided to use the regular smiley, just upside down 🙃

I needed to know if this was appropriate  😂  so Google to the rescue :

The upside-down face emoji, sometimes known as the upside-down smiley face, has several meanings depending on the context and personality of the user. It can indicate silliness, sarcasm, irony, passive aggression, or frustrated resignation. Outside of these, this emoji can be used for even still more ambiguous emotions.

Thanks for vising me today!

Hannelie

Love how you used your upside down smiley face emoji. I have a stamp set of a bunch of different emojis that I've hardly ever used. Thanks so much for some inspiration on what to do with them!!
