Uniko Challenge #57 : Anything goes - Optional twist Cool Winter Colors

Hi there!

Just popping in to remind you about the current Uniko challenge !

I used the optional twist of cool colors to create cards for a new baby boy ... two cards because I just couldn't let go of the circle die cut from the pretty background !

I used :

  • Sweet-baby stamp set ( currently on sale ! )
  • Stencil : quilted for the background
  • Zig markers
  • Altenew ink
  • White embossing powder and Versamark ink and embossing paste
  • Silhouette cameo to cut out the bear
  • Circle die
  • Craft foam

I started off by applying Versamark ink through the quilted stencil and heat embossed it on watercolor paper. I then loosely water colored  the squares with my zig markers. Still not satisfied with the look, I decided to apply some embossing paste as well... and that did the trick to add the texture and quilt-like look I wanted to achieve!

Challenge ends Friday 21st , midnight GMT.

Winners will be announced Friday 28th February 8am GMT

Hope to see you in the gallery!

Two absolutely beautiful cards which I love love LOVE so much! Of course you couldn't let go of that circle. Both cards are so darling and softly colorful. The embossing paste did the trick for the quilted look.

Your cards are so sweet! I love the pastel colors and that cute teddy bear. I don't blame you for wanting to use that circle die-cut.
