Ahoy... happy birthday!

Hi there!

Just a quick hello on a hazy, dusty and hot Monday morning in Abu Dhabi! Thanks for popping in to take a look at the card I made :)

 I used:

  • Sailboat cutting file from the Silhouette store : Design ID #133442
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Hero Arts Spiral petal stencil
  • Distress Oxide ink  : Faded jeans
  • Red Promarker
  • Enamel dots Foam tape for dimension
  • Sentiments designed in the Silhouette studio ~ Fonts used: DK More or less & Dulcelin

Sharing may card at :

CASology ~ Marine

Fusion card challenge ~ I used both the sketch and photo inspiration. Flipped the sketch in landscape orientation and used the red focal point and theme as my inspiration.

Wishing you a wonderful week!

Hugs
Hannelie

What a cool way to use the stencil to tie in with the stripes design of the sailboat. A brilliant CAS card! Thanks for joining in the fun as CASology this week.

Absolutely wonderful nautical scene, Hannelie. Love that fantastic water you created, and the boat is so jaunty. Also, very cool how you curved the sentiment to match your waves. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.

A fresh, clean sailing scene! I had to look up the spiral petal stencil to see what it looked like. You are so clever to have seen how it could be used to depict ocean waves. Love it!
