Hello : take 2

Hi again!

As promised, here is the card I made featuring the 'left-over' frame from the previous card!

Inspired by the same challenges:

Photo inspiration from the Altenew January challenge , and technique challenges from Happy little stampers January watercolor challenge (without the optional twist)  and Anything goes with dies.

... and adding one  two more : (thanks Sarah for noticing the ombre tones !)

AAA cards  ~ Hello   & Less is more ~ Ombre

                     Please display our banner

My card:

Altenew Golden Garden

Up close:

Altenew Golden Garden

I used the Altenew Golden Garden set, stamped with Vintage photo & Mustard seed, and also water colored with the same 2 colors.

The hello sentiment is from the Floral Frame set, also by Altenew.
I was mostly inspired by the colors from the photo, but focused on one single flower this time.
For interest I used 2 layered frames. The bottom one cut from brown fun foam, and the top one, as earlier mentioned, the 'left-over' from my previous card.

That's it!

Thanks again for looking.

Hugs
Hannelie

Stunning. One would think that yellows and browns might be a bit harsh, but in this case, your card is simply wonderful. That frame is just the ticket. And I've been eyeing the Golden Garden set for some time... Might have to place an order. Such a gorgeous card! Love it! Bev

Perfect use of a leftover, Hannelie. Just enough color in the frame to tie in with that gorgeous flower.

I couldn't for the life of me say which one of your cards I love more! The colors are warm and beautiful, and I'm drawn to the stamped frame on this one. On the other hand, you've got just the perfect bit of gold glitter on the first. They're both fantastic!
