CAS(e) this sketch #203

Hi there!

We're back!

Yes it's time for the first sketch of 2017 @ CAS(e) this sketch !

Thanks Michele for this inspired layout!

I flipped the sketch upright...

Another shot:

This beautiful cut is a design by Jennifer Wambach in the Silhouette store ( Design ID #159481 )

I LOVE her designs! They are bold & fresh with a modern feeling!

I started off by cutting the flower group in white, not sure which direction I wanted to go with the colors. When I decided on the colors I want to use, I used gold craft spray paint , and gave it a generous coat of paint.

I completed the card with the striped panel on the left (cropped/ subtracted from the outline of the flowers), my own sentiment and pale pink enamel dots.

The sentiment shared with you :

I am adding my link to the The card concept , with my clean and graphic approach! Love the gold, the stripes, and the pink color accent from those pretty peonies !

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

  4. Very dramatic! I love the contrast of the stripe against the gold flowers. We don't often think of using spray paints on our cards, but it looks like it worked out great!
