Sweet birthday wishes... turning flowers into ... ice cream!

Hi there!

A long post title... but if you are reading this, I guess I was successful to make you curious enough to click the link and take a look at today's card!

I am still busy with the Altenew brush art floral set, disguised as scoops of ice cream  this time :)

A closer look:

I don't own a large amount of stamps... so I am always on the lookout for ways to use what I have in an original and creative way.

Don't you think it looks a lot like the ice cream in the inspiration photo at The card concept this week?

Just the right shape and texture!

Take a look:

I masked the circle, with a die cut and stamped the 2 largest flowers 5 times.

Colors used:

  • Peony (Colorbox)
  • Fizz (Avery elle)
  • Rosa (Stamperia)
  • Sweet Melon (Colorbox)
After stamping I added my own sentiment to create this clean and graphic card.

I hope you can use it too!

Also adding my link to the anything goes birthday challenge at Seize the birthday and Virginia's view challenge all about the focal point.

                                       Challenge #24 (Focal Point)

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day
Hannelie

This is definitely out-of-the-box thinking, Hannelie, and you pulled it off perfectly. I tried a similar idea and hated it so much I'm not even posting it.
