About Pinterest, statistics and this time of the year...

Hi there!

I don't have a (new) card to share today, but instead I want to share something interesting with you!

Last year , and the year before, about this time in October, I noticed an increased interest in one particular card I made and shared on the 24th of October 2013.

It's a Christmas card, and up to now, the one single card , that according to my dashboard's statistics, made almost 6500 people to click and view this particular card on my blog.

According to the screenshot below of the pin on Pinterest, even more interesting, it has been pinned more than 26 000 times! That's a lot of pinning from this little blog of mine ☺ So good to know that so many people were inspired by this card!

Here is the original card:

I guess this means 2 things:

1)  Don't underestimate the power of Pinterest to draw traffic to your blog...

&

2) It's time for me to start making Christmas cards... LOL!

no... 3 things, my photo editing skills also improved... the first attempt at editing this photo ended up way to dark. It looks better now I think!

Thank you for clicking this link, reading this post, and for pinning a PIN!

I appreciate you

Hugs
Hannelie

Fab card. I amazes me why some cards attract interest long after the original post. I find it fascinating where the links come from! :)

Jouw kaarten zijn ook altijd prachtig, deze kerstkaart ook. Geen wonder, dat die zo vaak gepind is.
Ik heb een van van mijn borden zelfs jouw naam gegeven.
Hoe vind je dat!

Apparently, I'm NOT one of the 26,000. How did I ever miss this gem of a card? Certainly can see why people keep looking, though.

I pin quite a few of your cards because I adore your style, and the fact that you use Silhouette a lot. I would love to see Christmas cards from you. I'm looking for some inspiration. ;)

Thanks for sharing, Hannelie. I never look at those things. In fact, I forget to post my cards on my Pinterest Board. Guess I'd better get busy.
