The Paper Players : Challenge #300... a CAS CELEBRATION!

Hi there!

This week at the paper players we are celebrating a wonderful milestone!

                                             *** 300 challenges ***

To celebrate this occasion we have blog candy to give away, and lots of it! The team has assembled not one, not two, but 10 grab bags full of stamping goodness! To be eligible to win one, all you need to do is play along with our challenge this week. You can play as many times as you like, but each needs to be a new project (no back linking, please) and make sure you follow our usual challenge rules. Winners will be selected from all PP300 challenge participants using Random.org and will be posted on Saturday, June 25."

Jaydee has chosen the theme... A Clean and Simple CELEBRATION!

A closer look:

I stamped the larger and smaller Penny Black dahlias on the card base with Versafine onyx black ink and framed it with a die cut frame from memory Box dies.

I scribbled color with with Zig Markers on a piece of acetate and spritzed it with water. I just gave the frame a quick swoosh trough the paint, allowed it to dry and then adhered it to the card base.

I added the Silhouette cut sentiment ( #50178)  and a couple of sequins to complete the card.

Please join us this week for this special occasion!

Hugs
Hannelie

Heel mooie CASkaart!

This is a beautiful card. I love the black dahlias with the colorful frame. Thanks for tips on how you colored it. I'll have to remember to get my acetate out and see what I can do. Usually I think of it for shakers but not smooching colors. That big "celebrate" is so perfect. What a great design for the challenge.

Hannelie, I love the colored frame against the monochromatic background. Fabulous CAS card. So glad you are a part of our PP team this year and hope that you are having a wonderful time in South Africa. I so remember those wonderful, crisp, nights - and am envious of your drive. Especially as you go through the Karoo and Maatjiesfontein.

Goed gaan!!!!!

Very pretty. I love the floating frame technique and it looks super around the flowers.

This is so cool....and I am sure you just swished that frame through the ink and if I did it, it would be a mess! Yours is just perfectly pretty!
