CAS(e) this sketch #171

Hi there!

It was so much fun to see all the different takes on my sketch last week! You all did a great job... thanks so much for filling up the gallery  with all your awesome creations!

But now it is time for a new CAS(E) this sketch !

And my card to invite an inspire you to play along :

Close up:

I used my old Fiskar striped texture plates as stamps to create my plaid BG by inking , spritzing and stamping 2 times  with Spiced Marmalade distress ink. Once horizontally and once vertically. I added the flower which was partially stamped, and a birthday sentiment from the Silhouette online store.
(the 'wishes' is my own addition to the sentiment).

Hope to see you play along !

I am adding my link to the PLAID challenge at Addicted to CAS

&

Flower challenge at Simon says stamp - work-it-Wednesday

Thanks for visiting me today :)

I adore how you added a bit of the grid lines to your flower diecut to match the BG - the sentiment die cut is a fabulous font too! A lovely card!

Fabulous CAS card and love how you've done the plaid and how you've popped on some onto the flower. Bold black sentiment sets it all off perfectly x

Wonderlik mooi, vrou!!!!

Oh yet another stunner Hannelie! Love how the flower is just edged the same as the background and a beautiful die-cut sentiment in a dreamy font. Perfectly CAS and great to see you play along at ATCAS with it. Thanks so much. Sarah
