Green leaves!

Hi there!

I know everybody in the northern hemisphere is awaiting Spring with much anticipation, but here in the UAE we want to hold on to the last cooler days of the Winter with everything in us!

Winter is just the perfect season out here in the desert! We even had a couple millimeters of rain last night and early morning.

But I do love making cards inspired by Spring... and here is one!

Spring birthday wishes card

The leaf stamp is a very old one from a Hero arts set. I think it was one of my first stamp sets!
The sentiment panel was created digitally.

I colored the leaves and the masked upper portion of my card using my Zigs.

I am playing in a couple of challenges with this card:

Fusion card challenge  ~ sketch and theme.

The card concept          ~ CAS inspired by the green color palette and leaves.

Time out challenges   ~ Spring & optional twist of masking (my masking is hidden behind the                                                   sentiment panel.

Seize the birthday        ~ Anything goes.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hannelie

Groete

I really love this - and not just because green is my favourite colour -
but because it's so pretty and perfectly balanced.

Isn't it great when you can pull out those old stamps and use them again? I like how you used it to create a pattern for your card. Very spring-like, indeed!
