The Paper Players: Tic-Tac-Toe

Hi there!

We have a great challenge lined up for you this week at The Paper Players !

It's a Tic-Tac-Toe challege hosted by Jaydee!

My card was inspired by the first row down... Flowers... Die cuts... Yellow.

A very Simple design, with lots of white space, and some interest added to the BG by slicing the upper part of the card base in 4 parts, and popping it up using fun foam.

The rose and leaves are cutting files from  Miss Kate cuttables as well as the sentiment. I just used the sentiment as digital stamp in stead of using it as a cutting file.

Enamel dots to complete the picture.

I hope you will join us once more and pick some fun elements from the wonderful inspiration Jaydee provided!

I am adding my card to the "down under'' challenge at Less is more for the following reasons:

1) Focal point in the lower left corner of my card.
2) I used the 2 colors of the Aussie sports teams.

Yellow (or gold) and green are the colors which both Australia and South-Africa compete in! Not only do we share the same sport colors, we also share the same passion for rugby and cricket! A kind of love/hate relationship... Love to compete, but hate to lose against one another!

Also adding my link to the anything goes challenge at Simon says stamp.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hello Hannelie: Your card is gorgeous, I always love how perfectly clean your die cuts are. Very clever way to interpret the theme at the challenge. I took a cue from you to at least use the Aussie sports colors on my card, since I also have no images from Kylie's Country.
Thank you for sharing.

I saw this over at the PP and then at LIM. It took awhile before I realized that your colours were the Aussie sports one's. You just confirmed it when I popped over! You certainly inspired my card for the PP challenge. :)
