Treasure

Hi there!

It is 8 am Wednesday as I am starting to type this post. Just returned from the airport after dropping off our youngest daughter . With Summer holidays coming to an end, she returns to the Netherlands today to start the second year of her International business and management degree. We had a wonderful time together and I miss her already. The house is awfully quiet and now we are looking forward to Christmas to be together again for a short time.

I will treasure every moment of our time together. Maybe that was on my mind yesterday when I picked the sentiment for today's card...

Tree of nature cottage cutz

My card was inspired by the current Muse card club challenge where Tracey is the muse this week!

I used the tree as my starting point and added flowers in the same yellow/orange color scheme as Tracey's card. I decided to keep the rest of my card white on white.

The tree and flowers are die cuts from the tree of nature set from Cottage cutz. The sentiment and bird were cut with my Silhouette. I think I have a new favorite font for the Silhouette... it cuts perfectly and is called always in my heart.

I am also sharing my card at Simon says stamp (work it Wednesday) ~ die cuts (3rd entry) and Addicted to stamps ~ CAS.

Just before I say good bye... a picture of  Daniélle and I... my Facebook friends already saw the picture over the weekend ;)

Thanks for visiting me today!

Remember to treasure moments together ♥

Je dochter lijkt erg op jou! Fijn dat jullie haar weer thuis hadden en dat je haar mist kan ik me voorstellen!
De kaart is erg mooi, subtiel zijn de bloemetjes aan de witte tak.

Oh...my heart knows exactly how your heart is feeling right now!!! Christmas countdown starts today!

Gorgeous card! Love the airy-ness of your tree and LOVE the white on white sentiment!

Thanks for sharing the font info. I just downloaded it a second ago. It's nice to tidy script like this that cuts well with our little rigs!

I love the dainty tree with it's lovely blossoms, Hannelie. I also love that font and use it often on the inside of my cards. Danielle is such a beautiful girl and I can see why. You look like sisters.

Hannelie, I completely understand that you miss your daughter already. I was the same with my son in his first and second year, but I know that dropping my daughter off next week for her first year is going to be very difficult. Your card is beautiful, as always, and I just love the white on white and that font! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Muse this week!

You and your daughter are both so beautiful, Hannelie! My son called me tonight (he lives 1200 miles away), and it was SO GOOD to hear his voice and laugh with him. I miss him SO MUCH!

Your card is another stunner. So crisp and clean looking with a lot of love worked into it, too. I love the way you are able to use white on white so perfectly.

Stunning interpretation of Tracey's MUSE card; so beautiful; I love how your card is similar yet not a "copy" of Tracey's card.
