Freshly made #200 !

Hi there!

When I saw the first announcement of the upcoming celebrations at Freshly made sketches, I searched my blog archive to see at which sketch I started to play... I could trace it down to about sketch no 20. Skipped a few here and there... but managed to join in most of the challenges since then!

I always find it a bit scary to go back into my card making history... but on the bright side... it's good to see how much I have learned. Not only about design... but also about taking a decent (I hope) photo of the project! Card making tools and techniques also evolved quite significantly over the last couple of years!

So on to my cards for today. Yes card(s), because how on earth could I stop at one attempt with the given clean-slate-fantastic-sketch?!
I used the same elements, just a couple of color and other subtle changes, and this is how it looks like: You may pick a favorite ;)

Take 1:

Take 2:

Take 3:

Not much to explain...The butterflies were cut with my Silhouette and the loopy border die is from MFT. Cut twice and layer for the first 2 cards and for the last card, I have used glitter fun foam... another great find at a local stationery shop.

I may have one more card up my sleeve ... but this is it for now!

Here's to the next 200 sketches... thanks for the fabulous inspiration from all participants!

Thanks for looking :)

I tried to pick a favorite, Hannelie, but couldn't...they're ALL great! When I looked at the simple sketch, I was amazed at how you brought it to life. That loopy border adds so much, and the little butterflies provide some whimsy and help focus the eye. Three more wonderful cards!

Groetjes, Gerrina

These are all wonderful, Hannelie! I think my favourite would have to be the second one with the beautiful, bright flowers. I started playing along at FMS at sketch #20 too :)

These are all soooo lovely, Hannelie ... fresh and clean and gorgeous! I do particularly love the first one ... it's all that gorgeous white on white space with just a touch of colour amid the monochrome ... sigh! Hugs, Anita :)

I love all of them, but if I have to choose one, I like Take 3 the best! The pink glitter loops are perfect for the polka dot background.

What a beautiful array of cards and wonderful way to use the sketch. If asked to pick a favorite, I think it would be impossible! Thanks for helping us celebrate this week at FMS!

I used to cringe so badly looking back at old cards but now, as you said, I just try to be proud of how far I've come. :) All three of these cards are gorgeous but if forced at gunpoint to pick a favourite I'd go for #1. :D

I LOVE that first card! Is that a font you have on your computer or is it a stamp.

I use my Cameo all the time, and I would love to have this font if that's what it is!

Thanks so much!
