HB2U

Hi there!

I really hope wherever you are, you are doing fine and having a good time! Whether you are enjoying Summer, or surviving Winter !

Here in the UAE we are just trying to get through Summer. It really is extremely hot out there, high humidity, and wind kicking up lots of sand and dust ;( but hey, it has it's advantages as well... more indoor time means more crafting time!

I have a card to share inspired by 2 challenges:

Less is more ~ one layer masculine card

Inkspirational challenges ~ grunge

I never thought I will take the 'grunge' route, because I prefer the opposite 'polished' look !

But going through my background stamps I discovered this stamp, and thought, maybe when applied in small amounts, I can add a grunge element and still keep it CAS!

The diamond shapes were sponged with TH distress inks (Faded jeans & Peeled paint)... using the leftovers from this card as stencil.
The sentiment was sponged with Versafine onyx black using a stencil cut with my Silhouette.

I am slowly but surely starting to enjoy making one layer cards... can you believe that?!

Thanks for visiting me today!

I've not been able to bring myself to try my hand at "grunge." If I could make it look like yours, then maybe...

Daai lyk vir my na 'n GI stamp, vrou???!!!
