Smile

Hi there!

Anybody out there following the cricket world cup with me?!

So excited that South-Africa just won against Sri Lanka and we are now through to the semi finals!

On to my card for today...

This was the first time I experimented with my Silhouette sketch pens and oh boy... it really is so much fun. Perfect for those cutting files with too many intricate detail to make a clean cut!

I just added a few tiny pearls to finish off my design.

I am linking my card to the following challenges:

The paper players  ~ CAS florals

Casology ~ Blossom

Thanks so much for visiting me today!

ps... this is my last 'live' post for a couple of weeks... I am taking a blogging break... take care... see you all later!

Hugs

Oral is daar krieket opgewondenheid hier!!!
Maar nou na jou kaartjie, vrou!!! Daai blom is weer absolute treffend eenvoud!!! Pragtig, vrou!!!

Groete

Lovely card. You betcha about the cricket. I'm Australian so waiting to see how we go on Friday. I think tho that New Zealand will win, unless they get way too confident.

So pretty! Love the pearls in the centre of the flower! I've got a few sketch pens that also have not seen much action! Best change that soon!

Hope your bloggie break is full of fun times!

Ooh I like Rob's comment above about NZ possibly winning the Cricket World Cup LOL. Fingers crossed! Your card is gorgeous - I've been tempted to buy the sketch pens but haven't taken the plunge yet - probably because I don't use my Silhouette enough to justify spending any more money on it :)

Hannelie this card is absolutely stunning! So perfectly CAS. I'm intrigued by the sketch pens; I have a few but have never really used them with my Silhouette. I'm off to look at mine in a new light. Enjoy your blog break - sometimes it just has to be done! Thanks for joining us once again for our CAS floral challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

I should be more of a cricket fan as it's a big game here. We even have a 4 day weekend in the summer for the big East vs West game. Alas, it completely confounds me. Not just the game but also how they can wear those sweater vests (even if they are white) in all that heat!!! :)
As for your card - another stunner! Love that bold pop of red and the sweet little pearl added to the sentiment! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
