Mini inspired!

Hi there!

Just a very quick post today, as we are almost on our way to a James Blunt concert in Dubai tonight... so excited!

I am equally excited to share my card for this week's challenge at Casology with the cue word: mini.

Edited to add...

... I just realised that this will fit the bill for the challenge at Less is more , where the theme is: wings.

Mini in terms of size isn't something that comes to mind when I have to describe my card making style. I'd rather like to go big and bold! So I had to put my thinking cap on for this one.

On the highway this morning, I was driving behind a  RED MINI COOPER... and yay for inspiration. there and then!

I added 2 strips of black paper ... the 2 stripes Mini is famous for!

I created the cutting file (logo inspired) in my Silhouette programme, and made my own sentiment... guess the name of the font... license plate!

Here it is for you to use!

Thanks Melissa and the Casology team giving us the chance to think outside the box!

Thanks for visiting me today, and remember, inspiration is everywhere ;)

Perfect take on the 'mini' cue, Hannelie! I'd say you had an awesome "ping" while driving! Great card - way to make it happen. And love how the font name matches your theme!! Bev

Love your interpretation of the cue word, and especially your attitude of Go Big! Your card is big and bold, and would make an incredible graduation card.

Your card brings to mind "honor" and "glory." Those would certainly be dreams-come-true for lots of people! Fabulous design!

...eenvoudig briljant!!!
Groete en 'n lekker dag - dis lekker koel vandag by ons!!!!
