Game # 4 : AAA Cards

Hi there!

We were thrilled to see so may lovely entries in game #3 last week! You really rocked the challenge!

This week we have a Technique challenge for you to try at AAA cards !

Chalkboard technique!

The card I have to show you was my first attempt at the technique!
I struggled a bit... must admit, because I usually aim for CLEAN and simple, and with my research about the technique, I found out that the whole 'thing' was to make it look a bit like an erased chalkboard! Which is not THAT clean!

Anyway if I can do it, you can do it... better!

Hope to see you again this week at AAA cards! So off you go, and be inspired be the rest of the team's wonderful inspiration!

You have a fabulous focal point and lots of open space which is the meaning of CAS. Your card is simply marvelous, Hannelie!

This is brilliant, Hannelie ... the white flower glows beautifully amid the 'rubbed off chalk' ... great pop of red with the button and chevron ribbon! Anita :)

Well done chalkboarding, my friend! I'm not sure if I can handle it; but if time allows this week, I'll surely give it a shot. Love how managed to keep it CAS. Great card. Bev

I have yet to try the chalkboard technique. If I thought I could carry it off as well as you have, I might give it a try. :)

Pragtig!!
Ek gaan nou gou loer na die ander DT kaartjies by AAA.
Groete en lekker bly!!!

Such a little cutie card! Love the way the ribbon just peeps out of each side. AAA Cards is also inspiring me to try new things.
